Meditation

Active in the business world, I keep my feet firmly on the ground. As a market researcher, I meet people from all walks of life, and as an entrepreneur, I understand the challenges of the workplace.

I know the power of intellect, but the greatest source of my inspiration, vitality, and fulfillment comes from a place 'beyond' the intellect.

I have extensive training in personal development, psychology, communication, relationships, and mindfulness in organizations. Yet, at some point, I reached a place where further insights, psychological models, self-analysis, or books couldn’t touch what was longing to be touched.

In 1998, I began practicing consciousness meditation. It taught me how we can develop a broader consciousness, how it encourages transformation, what "true" reality is, and how to go with the flow of life.

This is what I’d love to share.

Nature, Camper Life, and Culture

Nature inspires and heals. I love hiking, especially in mountains and forests.
Traveling by camper has taught me everything about life: being flexible with goals, meeting others, feeling content with myself, staying calm when things don’t go as expected, and not fearing the unknown… In short, embracing the reality that changes every day.

I also enjoy reading (both fiction and non-fiction). I have a strong interest in neuroscience and the effects of meditation on our brain, heart, and entire body.

Occasionally, I attend modern dance or classical music performances.

Training and Certifications

- Teacher Trainings in Lightbody Awakening at the source in America (the late Duane Packer and Sanaya Roman) and the Lightbody Institute in Belgium. My favorite form of meditation, focused on developing new awareness.
- Teacher Training in Emotional Intelligence, Mindfulness, and Leadership from the Search Inside Yourself Institute, originally developed at Google and now implemented worldwide in organizations.
- Teacher Training in Compassion Meditation (Frits Koster and Erik van den Brink). This practice softened me and deepened my respect for our shared humanity.
